East Windsor Fire Company #2 was called mutual aid to assist Hightstown Engine Co #1 at the scene of a gas main leak on Stockton Street in Hightstown, NJ. The street was closed to traffic and pedestrians for hours while PSE&G worked to secure the gas leak and make repairs. Firefighters from East Windsor Fire #2, Hightstown Fire and East Windsor Fire #1 remained on scene until PSE&G was able to secure the gas pipe and the nearby homes that were affected.
